Bandanas, Headbands, Buffs

Angela B. (Jan 2018): I am the world’s best procrastinator, have been meaning to post reviews forever. Lets start with one I don’t think is in here yet! Bondi Band athletic headbands. (donate 10% of profits to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) They are great as sweatbands in the summer and as ear warmers/wind break in the winter. I even use mine as a kind of liner for my trucker hats to keep them clean longer and to keep my hair under control. I originally ordered On-On feet for my kennel in Tidewater and they were well loved. (proof available upon request).
Made of stretchy wicking material with the graphic screen-printed on, they have held up to trails and multiple washes very well. *Newest order for my kennel in Portland has our Humpin’ logo and there are new fabric color/cool design options. Also, the design is now fully printed into the band. It cost $10 for the custom art and a $25 set up fee plus the $6 base price per item and a shipping fee. High quality, functional fabric. My contact at the company is: Jen@bondiband.com and she is very responsive. These are are about 2-3 inches wide and worn as a headband / sweatband where the buff is more like 12 inches and usually more of a cotton material that can be folded over in different ways to cover head, face, neck, etc.

David B. (Mar 2019): Recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary within the Louisville Hash House Harriers. Had an awesome event! Our giveaway was one of those buffs/seamless bandanas/headwear tubes deals. We went through a company called ESPromos. Process was pretty easy since we knew kinda what we were looking for. Price has varied a little since I bought it, around $5-6/per for 100. We opted for the UV headband (I’m bald, so of course I would). They were a big kick at our hash! Would use this company again.

Lynn K. (Apr 2018): I ordered Hoo-rags for our kennel. I’m calling them Boh-rags (for the Natty Boh face). I got them from Hoo-rag for approx. $7.40 each. I ordered 100 and got a 10% discount for it being my first order. I’m selling them for $10 each and they have been very popular! The turn around time was fast. I sent them our kennel logo and the Hash flag design and they sent me back 3 choices. I choose this design and made a few edits but I had them in approximately 1 month (first email sent to delivery). I would highly recommend them.

I’ll F*ck Your Girlfriend (July 2017): Ordered by Rotten Groton H3 in 2015. RgH3 did red with all white print / text for a red dress run. I personally bought four to use around the house and hashing both in winter as a light face mask but summer as a cranium band, sweat band, arm band, and accessory. Great product and from the paperwork I could dig up an order of 100 came in around $4.55 cost per unit. Highly recommend as part of a major event give away!
Also of note is one male Hasher used one as a skirt… Nude otherwise. I did not get permission to share but suffice to say it made quite a enjoyable scene at the CT-RI-MA Three-Way hash in 2016 (RgH3, RIH3, Northborough H3)

Becky W (Oct 2017): I found this supplier on Alibaba by googling the crap out of ‘cheap buff alternative’. They have stock images and can also do custom designs with a high resolution image, very flexible on format. There are 2 printing methods depending on function and order size, and they are really good quality. They ship in about 2 weeks, costs range from $3-$5 per buff depending on order size and shipping distance.
It is best to email their customer service representative directly, there is a bit of a language barrier, so be patient. Lola Wu is the contact I have the best luck with. The only caution is that they will print EXACTLY what you send, so if you use a poor quality file, you will get a messy result. Best for larger orders (50+) and very cost effective. I have used them twice, and will definitely use them again. They also do sleeves, headbands, scarves and some hat designs.
