Titless (Jun 2015): Dead Hare Haberdashery is a popular source for image design and producing embroidered patches. She provides a unique ability to produce patches in small runs at good prices, while the big companies usually cannot. We used her to design and produce mismanagement tab patches for the Aloha H3. She took a rough sketch and made it a reality. Great work as always!

Titless (Nov 2018): Excellent work. Commissioned DLS for a complete rebranding and logo work for The Online Hab Bazaar. For a very reasonable price we got everything we needed and were even able to make patches to giveaway as well. Highly recommended!

Darren C. (June 2018): Special thanks to Dls hash design for Making me a bad ass Carrot Diq logo.

Shut the Chuck Up (May 2019): Double Dipped did an amazing job of helping me realize my ideas for hash and personal patches; she listened to my ideas, and then took them the next steps farther to create something unique & wonderful. She also knows the printing side of things better than anyone. -STCU

DI DI (June 2017): I’ve had 4 patches designed by hasher I’d Do Norman Cockwell, and he has been a Motown Ann Arbor H3 favorite “go to” for shirt & patch design. He’s also a professional graphic artist (day job). He’s easy to work with, talented, and a hasher so you know some of your money is going to beer! He’s just launched his hash design website, hashwell.com after so many hashers bugging him to do their patches/shirts (me for starters). The hash portraits are a neat new item, but I haven’t tried those.Patch and t-shirt designHasher-owned businessHave ordered 4 patches. Pricing: listed on the website, based on type of product, detail of design, etc. ranges from $50 for patches on up for portraits.

Titless (May 2017): I randomly chose Nick from the huge list of designers on Fiverr and could not be happier. I mean, just look at the design he came up with for the Hab Worldwide Group’s new patch and cover photo. The process was very easy. First I sketched out a few really bad concept designs, like a 3rd grader drawing on a napkin bad. Then, I sent him a detailed write-up with what I was looking for with a bunch of example files (so he knew what a Hapi Coat actually looks like, etc.) using the “Request Custom Order” button in his profile. He then sent me a quote, I accepted, and 6 days later he delivered. I asked for one revision and we were able to very quickly narrow it down to what I was looking for. Finally, I was impressed that after I had formally approved the revisions, he sent a note saying that he made a mistake on two of the images with overlapping figures, and sent replacements.
I actually requested 2 completely different designs plus a Facebook Cover Photo, complete with all the original files so it could be edited later ourselves if we wanted to. Total cost was $79 plus Fivvr’s $3.95 processing fee. It’s hard to shop around with something like this, so I was definitely nervous on the price before I saw the results. After seeing the final product, I think this is more than fair.
Nick also provides many other services, including vectorization (turn a low-res pic into a high-res image file) and other types of illustration. Also, he said that if you ask for just one logo from a napkin sketch he would quote $20 with a 2-3 day turnaround. I think that is a damn good price, and I would not hesitate to go to Nick again.

Titless (June 2015): I tried the fiverr thing but ended up going with Ivan at www.vectorizeimages.com who took a photo of our patch and turned it into a wire frame and full color set of .ai and eps in 12 hours for $32. Immediate communication and tweaking of images… I am beyond impressed. Pretty sure this is more than Fiverr but I can’t complain about the quality and the 12 hour turnaround.
