Cathy V. (Dec 2017): I met Angela at TITS in 2016. I wasn’t able to buy one of her kilts then but I saw many of her products being worn and they were all amazing. I have been working with her on the design for a new happi coat for my former home hash for some months. Angela has really taken the time to make sure things are done right. I was finally able to purchase one of her kilts this month and not only is it excellent quality wool, but it arrived in two days! Great service from someone who really cares about hashers.
Matthew C. (Dec 2018): You can never have too many kilts. This makes for an interesting alternative to the traditional tartan patterns and they have a few options for the on a flexible budget. I loved the idea of a place to rest your vessel to go with the kilt.
Updated post: While I still stand by my statement that you can never have too many kilts, you can find better vendors and options than “Damn Near Kilt em”. I order through Amazon because Prime is a thing @79.99. I received it in a short time and it went down hill from there. The buttons are flimsy and not very well attached. The buckles are cheap and solely for decorative use. I’ve since returned it and won’t go back. As much as I love the idea of a vessel holder, I’m hesitant now.
Walt M (Nov 2018): For all of you that like your kilts but don’t wanna ruin them in shiggy, this company is a good answer for you. I’ve been buying kilts specifically to destroy for 10 years and… havent been able to kill one yet. They now also have lightweight “ripstop” utility kilts at prices that are really tough to beat!
